It’s been a crazy last few weeks and I’m forever grateful!  All of us in the newborn & baby photography industry have been predicting this baby boom and I think it’s safe to say it’s here!

During the Covid shut down last year, I made the difficult decision to close the studio doors.  With so much uncertainty and my kiddos home/virtual learning, it seemed like the best thing to do. In all honesty, would any mom and dad want baby photos during a global pandemic? I suppose when you’re given lemons, you let them rot or… you  make some lovely refreshingly sweet lemonade!  I chose the latter, got my vaccine and became a traveling photographer.  Now instead of clients bringing their precious little newborns to me, I go to them. The response has been an overwhelmingly surprising one… turns out, new parents would prefer to not have to travel outside their home with a brand new baby. Who would have thought, right? haha. What’s great about having a newborn session in your home, babies don’t really require a lot of space for me to create beautiful baby art and often the space I’m in offers even more creative sparks and the end result is a magical one.
